Pastor Monte Stetler, Sr. and his wife Mary are no strangers to Westfield and the Village Park Bible Methodist Church.  In 1984 they believed God was leading them to establish a Bible Methodist Church in this area and after three temporary locations, the Church found it's home at 219 W. 161st Street.

The Stetlers served the Church for eleven years, after which time, God lead them to another field of labor. After nine years of absence, Pastor Stetler and Mary have returned to resume their ministry among the Village Park people and community. The Stetlers have three grown children and six grandchildren.
